Zagat rates Pittsburgh as nation's top food city.
Dec 17, 2015
We've been doing our version of the gourmet thing Since 1933. And for 2015, Zagat is recognizing the growth of all the new fancy places popping up around Pittsburgh.
They said: "In the city's latest accolade, the esteemed restaurant rating publication Zagat has ranked Pittsburgh as its No. 1 food city for 2015, topping out above much bigger cities such as Baltimore, Washington, D.C., New York and Boston. With a mandatory reference to Primanti Bros., Zagat notes that it ranked Pittsburgh tops for 'an abundance of more refined food glories the Steel City is becoming known for.' Zagat credited Pittsburgh's 'geography straddling both the East Coast and the Midwest' for attracting a mix of culinary talent and flavors."
Plus, it's nice for us to have somewhere else to eat on our day off.
