Spreading the Love for the 'Burgh's Favorite Sammich.

New Faces Added to our "Wall of Fame" in the Strip.

04/01/2013

Yeah, check the date. It was April Fools when we started a silly dust-up about making a controversial addition to the hand-painted commemoration of famous Pittsburghers in our Strip District restaurant. Gotta love the passion of all of you out there; we don't take it lightly when we choose someone to add to the wall.

And we are passionate in our support of the Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey program which provides a way for those with physical and cognitive disabilities to participate in sports. So when we had the opportunity to contribute to raising the awareness about this program, we were happy to add two local players, Dan McCoy (left in the photo, top on the wall) and Josh Wirt, to our wall of local heroes.

We invite you to learn more about the benefits and outreach provided by this sports program at the Mighty Penguins Sled Hockey website.

We're open in Mt. Lebanon.

Primanti Bros. has updated the historic Lebanon Lodge to open our 18th Pittsburgh-area location.

A generation of teen-agers who hung out there from 1932 to 1945 made fond memories at Lebanon Lodge. Owner John Simmonds and his wife Katherine took a gamble when they built the chalet-like lodge in Mt. Lebanon in the middle of the Depression, but it soon attracted a faithful crowd.

We invite you to visit us in this re-born Lebo landmark.
